Good thing there is no tolerance school for SPAM haters

Is there any other way to get rid of SPAM other than word verification? I hate SPAM. But I am also a little lazy. If I drink a couple of Guinesses I don't feel like sitting down and deciphering the word verifications scrambled letters. So to solve this problem I intentionally screw up at spelling a few times until I get a short easy one. So I guess I'm a little lazy. When I was in middle school and a teacher asked us to write about "If you can be any animal what animal would you be and why?". I slowly wrote a short responce about how awesome it would be to be a three-toed sloth. So until someone starts a trend of new way to get rid off SPAM, or until word verification gets easier, I will have to keep screwing up the letter jumbles. Am I the only person that does this?
